| I stumbled across AR on the Web in 2003 and then took another 12 months to get around to trying it out, and I love it. I’ve made new friends and have enjoyed the events I have tried so far.
Before AR I was just messing about with distance running (10km - ½ Marathons), I had a mountain bike but it didn’t get out much. A long time before that I had a stint in the Army (Engineers) of about 9 years.
Very much a Newbie to the sport I am working on my skills by getting into the individual disciplines such as rogaines, MTBO etc. I train 5-6 days each week with a mix of bike, running and gym work. I look forward to meeting you out on the trail! | | | | Best AR discipline | On foot | | Worst AR discipline | Swimming | | AR ambitions | Complete an XPD | | AR bugbear | Rude and unfriendly people who think they are somehow superior (but you get 'em everywhere) | | AR best moment | Bris Teva - my first time out, finally doing it! | | AR worst moment | Hitting the wall on Hells Bells after 19hrs (must eat more food) | | My AR best results | Watch this space |
