Coming from a typical general outdoorsy NZ background, including way too much orienteering, I did a few AR races with mates and got myself hooked into the sport.
Lacking the drive to form a team and make things happen competitively I have decided to organise some races and give more people the opportunity to get out there loving our sport. |

| Best AR discipline | Navigation, Bike carrying |
| Worst AR discipline | I imagine in-line skating, that would be humourous |
| AR ambitions | To sometime find a team and to win the biggest international races |
| AR bugbear | Financial barriers to getting people out there |
| AR best moment | Finishing my first race: Arrow 24hr Chch 2004. 2nd behind Seagate with a fun group of mates |
| AR worst moment | Generally associated with kayaking and needing to pee |
| My AR best results | 3rd ARWC 2005 |
| 2nd Whakatane 24hr 2007 |
| 2nd Arrow 24 hr (Christchurch) 2004 |
| My next AR events | I'll be directing my own |
| Favourite AR race | ARC 24hr, those guys rock |
| Favourite piece of kit | My future favourite is going to be an insomniac. I can't wait |
| Advice(tip) for other racers | Choose your teammates carefully |
