Teams deflate their kayaks and start the first trekLaval St. Germain of Team Supplierpipeline was jumping across a stream when he fell on a sharp rock and injured his leg. Unable to continue the trek to the next CP, he was flown off the course by Coast Guard helicopter and taken to a local hospital. His injury was treated and he is now resting at Base Camp.
The remaining three team members are camped for the evening and will return to Base Camp in the morning. It is not known at this time if they will continue unranked or withdraw.
