Team Sole in First at finish of Stage 1

They took the lead on Mount Moresby and never looked back. Paul, looking very tired said they napped at Tow Hill, maybe one other place, and then again at CP 20. The last time they slept they overslept and woke up in a panic and rushed to get back on the course and complete stage one of this race.
When asked by a local resident what he thought of Haida Gwaii, one team member said it was beautiful and last night he saw an "albino seal".
Team SOLE has been temporarily adopted by Jag and his family and taken to their residence just down the road for hot showers and a hot meal. The family operates a cafe and garden business and they make great coffee.
While we wait for the next teams I'm off to Jag's for coffee.
