Where: In grounds of Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Club, Moyvalley (Off old N4 between Enfield and Clonard)
When: Saturday 13th March 2010 at 11am
Why: A new fun challenge to be "enjoyed" by those with good running fitness but equally those looking for a personal Challenge - This is not a regular road or conventional cross country run be assured
The Runamuck Challenge is a cross country running event over a wet and mucky course with various man made and natural obstacles including bale "jumps", cargo nets scrambles, sand pits slogs, ditchs, streams, bridges, tyres and tunnels designed to test your mental and physical strength, and to leave you with a great sense of achievement and a big grin on your face
It can be competed in as Solo, as a Relay Pair (Durty Duo) or as a Team of any number of 3 or more on either the 1 lap Muckers or 2 lap Serious Muckers Courses. 1 lap is about 5km and is expected to take between 25 and 50 minutes to complete.
Of particular interest is the Team Challenge which should appeal clubs to many as both great training and a team building opportunity.
