XTERRA is Coming to Norway

The world's largest off-road multisport event will be unleashed in Norway at August 5, at Norefjell.

XTERRA is the world's largest off-road multisport event and is an extreme competition for all ages, which includes both swimming, mountain biking and terrain. With a location near Oslo, Norefjell is a perfect place with high mountains. The trails will take on a lot of altitude meters and a beautiful scenery. Xterra Norway will be the route with most height meters in the Xterra Tour.
 
Despite the fact that some of the world's best triathlists, mountain bikers, runners and adventure racers are participating in XTERRA, the focus is on sports on much more than just elite athletes. In addition to the competition itself, XTERRA is about a unique community, comradeship, adventure, and to promote the healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle of people of all ages.

When XTERRA comes to Norefjell and Norway, there are four different distances -

XTERRA Norway, consisting of 1.5km swimming, 30km mountain bike and 10km terrain. But its also XTERRA Duathlon, Trail Run and XTERRA Kids Triathlon for the children.

Participants can expect a unique event, where the height meters on the trails will highlight of the competition. From the start of the bike trail at Krøderen and to the finishing touch at Norefjell Ski & Spa, the participants will battle through a total of more than 1100 height meters.

XTERRA Norway Norefjell becomes a unique competition in the XTERRA series. Nature invites you to be challenged, while having a great view of parts of the trail. Some of the world's best XTERRA practitioners have already announced their arrival, as well as the "Real Men" (from TV3's program series).

At XTERRA Norway Norefjell competes professional athletes for big cash prizes and age-group athletes can qualify for the World Championship in XTERRA in Maui, Hawaii.
