Experiencing Corsica's Delights on Day One

Let's go! This morning at 9 am, the 36 teams have set off in the heart of Saint Florent for a new edition of the Corsica Raid Aventure. The organizers had warned, this first step would immediately put the participants in the atmosphere Corsica Raid!
And all discovered that the slogan was not usurped: it's beautiful, extreme, unforgettable!!
The teams started with an urban trail race and coastering Saint Florent at the beach of Roya, a little warm up under the sun. At the end of the beach, the teams jumped into their kayak and rushed to the next CP. But the organizers had warned them, even if it's a race, do not forget to look up, this first section of sea kayaking will make you dream! Paddling in such an environment, along wild cliffs is exceptional and all enjoy these magical moments, even if the race is difficult.
The arrival of the section is done on the beach of Farinole where the competitors leave their kayak, find their assistances, change of material and possibly a competitor for the teams in CRA2 + 1 and dash in coastering along the beach before diving into the Mediterranean sea for a swimming section at sea ... That's the magic of Corsica Raid, chaining events as varied is rare on the adventure races!
A few kilometers further, the participants come out of the water, remove their overalls, masks and fins and run for a very nice trail section on the Toffune Niellu, a beautiful and well preserved place that will take a little height to the participants and take them to the village of Patrimoniu. Again, the teams and each change of discipline, found their support team and change their equipment to start on a mountain bike, but also with their equipment of ropes because a surprise awaits them on the cliff of Sant'Angellu. Indeed, the organizers have installed an exceptional rope course with running hands and reminders with thrills guaranteed! All the participants have a smile on their faces when they come out of the last reminder, they are amazed and happy to live in a team of moments that only the Corsica Raid can offer!
But when the organizers had spoken the day before Dantesque day, they had not lied because it is now necessary to go again by mountain bike to discover the territory Conca d'Oru Nebbiu and the villages of Soriu and Pieve, where the riders had to to show all their talent to link rolling tracks and single track of beauty.
It is therefore tired but happy that the last teams crossed the finish line at Patrimoniu under applause!
And again, the magic Corsica Raid took place because it is a memorable evening while conviviality that the competitors have lived. In fact, the inhabitants of the town of Patimonio and the winemakers of Patrimonio have offered an exceptional evening to all the competitors and organizers of the Corsica Raid ... On the program, veal on the spit, tasting of the wines of Patrimonio and Corsican songs ... it is also this, the Corsica Raid Adventure, agile moments of conviviality to discover the Corsican soul!
