Inspired by elite performance, CRAFT targets the top and introduces its High End Jacket for ambitious cross-country skiers. Made of a state-of-the-art 3-layer softshell fabric with ultra-sonic taped seams and laser-cut ventilation, the garment delivers smooth comfort, fast function – and guarantees a flattering appearance on the track.
Spearheaded by Cross-Country product manager and double Olympic Champion Björn Lind, CRAFT is dedicated to designing the best gear for elite athletes as well as recreational skiers. Vital for the CRAFT product development is the close cooperation with the world’s best athletes – among them the Swedish national cross-country team. On the front, the super soft, comfortable softshell material with a brushed inside keeps warm and provides windproof protection. Its hightech membrane guarantees great breathability, which is further enhanced by the 2-layer fabric on the back. Here, CRAFT bonds a highly elastic Polyester knit with a brushed mesh material. To further enhance ventilation, the Swedes utilize laser-cut holes under the arms and on the back.
The design team worked with cameras filming the skiers’ movements closely from all angles. Thus, the complex, pre-shaped 3D cut offers fantastic freedom of movement and comfort.
