Kymira - A crowd funded brand producing game changing baselayer?
Press Release / 05.11.2015
KYMIRA, the performance enhancing Sportswear Company, has launched its brand of human powered sports clothing. It successfully raised the money to bring the sportswear to manufacturing on the crowd funding website Kickstarter.
KYMIRA is designed and engineered to allow the wearer to harness and recycle wasted energy while training, each item of clothing increases tissue oxygen levels by up to 20 per cent. This is achieved by using KYnergy technology that contains the thermo-reactive textile Celliant. The clothing offers the potential to dramatically improve power, endurance and rates of recovery in both men and women, ranging from the elite to the hobby athletes.
The thermo-reactive minerals are embedded within the fibres and woven into a blended fabric meaning that heat and infrared radiation emitted by the human body can be captured and re-emitted back in the form of far-infrared radiation.
“Research into Infrared and our technology has provided evidence that it can increase blood flow and tissue oxygen levels during training, which results in an increase in overall performance and accelerated recovery” comments, Tim Brownstone, founder of KYMIRA. “This allows a sportsperson to push harder, go further and recover quicker between sessions. He also added “feedback so far from athletes wearing our range is that this is a game changer”.
KYMIRA Core 2.0 is available in just black at the moment, but will be available in other colours in the future. Sizes range from extra small through to extra-large and Prices start from £50.
