Primus manufactures the Tupike in Europe in their own factory, using long lasting materials like stainless steel, oak wood, or brass. The Tupike has the capacity for real cooking, yet it's light and compact enough to easily carry along. With a stainless steel body, oak laths and brass details, Tupike will age with pride and look better with every adventure. The oak laths give the lid a rigid and robust feeling and protects the stove from wear and tear. The solid materials and its robust design ensure years of reliable service. When open, the lid and the additional side windscreens ensure steady cooking, even in windy conditions. Tupike comes with a custom griddle plate with a non-stick surface for easy use and cleaning. The griddle plate is made from die-cast aluminium, which ensures a good heat distribution. The grids and the drip tray can be removed and cleaned individually.

The Tupike is ready to cook in no time and comes equipped with two easy to use piezo-igniters. Two fold-away legs make the actual cooking more comfortable.

Variety is key when it comes to gas supply. Tupike can be powered with the cartridges typically used for backpacking and trekking stoves (for example Primus canister gas 100 g, 230 g and 450 g). They are smaller and lighter, which is a huge benefit when carrying the stove. For more stationary use, larger gas canisters can be used too with an optional adapter set. The stove can run on the larger Primus 2012 and M16 x 1,5 (CG) cylinders, but also Propane/Butane containers with a capacity of five, eleven or 33 kilos gas. Primus also offers the Tupike with a special carrying bag, called the Tupike Kit. It holds both the stove and all the necessities for a good meal. The carrying bag is made from strong polycotton fabric and has separate pockets for accessories, gas, food or other things needed.
