Set your videos for 7am Saturday mornings starting on the 16th of this month. That’s the time slot given to the series on the British Adventure Racing Championships to be shown on C4 in five weekly half hour shows.

The programmes follow the series through all the qualifying events to the final in Wales, which will be shown on December 28th. So first up is a programme on the 2 day Questars race in Devon and the Hebridean Challenge, two very different races. The following programmes are all on single races, Adrenalin Rush, Salomon X-adventure and then the Final.

All the filming is by Adventure Race experts Dream Team TV – of course. Their cameramen have been ever-present at races this year, taking some spectacular footage and it’s great to see it on terrestrial T.V. What’s more there will be 25 showings in total on the Sky Sports channels in December and early January. All this is good news for AR – for a minority sport to get so much airtime is impressive.

So, set your videos and as the winter nights close in relive this summer’s races.
