The Rush & Raid make it to TV

Rob / 23.07.2003
The Adrenalin Rush film is made by Dream Team T.V. and will have it’s first showing on Channel 4 (UK) on Sat 26th July at 7am, so get up early or set the video and don’t miss it. (Though we’re told there will be 2 more screenings if you do!)

Those who took part will may recall some of the places the camera team got into and can imagine the shots they took. They were in and alongside racers on the freezing cold swim, on top of the fearsome Liathach ridge in dense cloud and hovering in helicopters over Loch Ness as teams paddled towards the finish. At night they appeared with blinding lights, they were always close in and ready to get a reaction, which they often did! Those who raced may even be surprised at what they said – except possibly Keith Byrne. It’s a rare chance to see what ‘Europe’s Toughest Race’ is really like.

Then at the end of July and into early August there is the chance to see a two part film on the last ever Raid Gauloises in Kyrgyzstan. All those who took part have raved about the people and scenery of this little known country so the footage should be visually spectacular. For those in the UK it’s the chance to see Team Saab Salomon in action and to watch some of the great names in world AR like winners Team Montrail lead by Rebecca Rusch. Not to be missed.

The films will be on Europsort at the following times:

First part :
30th July 22:30
31th July 17:00
2nd August 8:30 am

Second part :
6th August
7th August
9th August
