Race is Del Valle is coming up

SVS #2 at Del Valle Regional Park is less than 2 weeks away. If you are looking to qualify for the USARA Nationals in California later this year this may be your best opportunity to do so. This event is one of the last remaining opportunities in the 4 state region left to qualify, it's also the shortest and cheapest event remaining.

But don't let that fool you, this will be one of the more
challenging 6 hour events out there.

Shooting Star has created 2 courses to challenge every level of adventure racer. Our Sprint course is completely marked and features technical single track trekking, miles of single track mountain biking along the lake and a refreshing kayak for a total time of 3-5 hours. (kayaks provided).

Our USARA course features challenging navigation, technical single track trekking, miles of single track mountain biking along the lake and a refreshing kayak for a total time of 6-8 hours. (Kayaks provided).

The Start, Finish and Main Transition Area for the event are all located at Venados Group Camp which is right on the lake and heavily shaded. Don't let the hot weather scare you away from this event, there is a lot of shade on the course and you will always be close to the lake and running creeks. After the event feel free to take a swim from the open beach at Venados.
