Brindabella Challenge

There’s something for everyone in the Brindabella Challenge — Australia’s largest variety cycling event, 2-10 December, Canberra. After the weather caused havoc last year in the lead up to this big weekend long event the organisers will be hoping they have paid their dues to mother nature, saving themselves from a repeat performance of last year.
Challenge yourself to take part in as many events as you can or pace yourself and just watch some of the action while seeing the sights of the nation’s capital. Get a group together and ride with family, friends, colleagues and team mates or relax and cheer on the participants.
The Brindabella Challenge will take you throughout the ACT – Australia’s Cycling Territory – into the shadow of the beautiful Brindabella Mountains, along the extensive bike path network, past Australia’s renowned national attractions and on some of Australia’s finest mountain bike tracks.
See the brand new Stromlo Recreation Park, the event hub for the 2006 Brindabella Challenge and a world class location for cycling, walking, running and equestrian. There will also be event action in the City Centre and the Brindabella Mountains.
