Urban Adventure Racers Wanted

The Innaugural Kodak Urban Race was held in attrocious conditions in Sydney last year, this year sees the race head to Brisbane and Melbourne also.



Teams are required to navigate themselves around the city while taking part in and completing a variety of tasks or challenges. Teams are allowed to use public transport, so ferries, buses, light rail and trains are all allowed means of transport, no taxis or private vehicles of any kind are allowed to be used.



So those of you that find yourselves couped up in your city office blocks and feel all that time on public transport and time spent at lunch wandering the city has been a means to pass the time or just get yourselves to work, the fruits of your labour can be realised. Pick yourself up a day ticket for the transport system and dust off your joggers. You will certainly enjoy yourself, who knows you could find yourself anywhere, Eaglefarm, The Gabba, South Bank or the Treasury Casino. Who knows what you could find yourself doing.



Worried about your fitness, dont be, last years sydney race saw plenty newcomers and even saw families making a day of it with the kids in tow.

As well as being part of a great race you will also be helping raise well needed funds for Mission Australia which aims to empower disadvantaged and isolated individuals, families and communities by giving them the support they need to get back on track, and lead more fulfilling lives.
