Polish Champs Bounces Back

Rob Howard / 05.10.2006
After the disappointment of having to cancel this years’ Polish AR Championships back in July, due to a very high risk, the race has now been reorganised for Oct. 24-29th.

There is a new venue in the Kaszubskie Lakeland, which is in Northern Poland, about 50 km from Gdañsk City but the format of a 350-400km Masters Race, and a 150-200km Speed race, remains the same. The masters race is open to mixed teams of 4 and the Speed race to pairs, and there are still places available. (Entry can be made online).

The race is organised by the ‘Sport Event’ company that runs the World Series race ‘The Bergson Winter Challenge’, and has the same Race Director, Pawe³ F¹ferek, who is renowned for his varied courses (with lots of rope stages) and his attention organisational to detail.

He promises this race, the longest held in Poland, will have some spectacular stages and the most diverse terrain of any of his races yet.
