Teva Championships Noosa 2006

Will team Mountain Designs retain their stranglehold on the series, or will the competition rise to the challenge? All will be uncovered as teams Mountain Bike, Trek and paddle their way around the beautiful Noosa hinterland, a new location for Adventure Racing in Queensland. The course is expected to take around 5 hours for the more competitive teams, and around 8 hours for the less competitive end of the field.

Race directors advise participants to expect something different for The Teva Champs 2006. It will be a Teva race with a difference aimed at challenging faster teams, while allowing other teams to finish in the designated 8 hour cut off.

Competitors are advised to \"Assume Nothing and Expect Anything\" the Teva Twist is definitely back for this event. The only clues to the all important challenges is that this is not a straight forward event of endurance. Strategy and teamwork will play a big part in team’s success. The challenges have taken a step up, so fitness, the ability to work together as a team, brain power and ingenuity will be required.

Look out for more of the ‘Teva Fun One’ and ‘Dash for the Stash’ which offers competitors at the ‘Let’s have fun’ end of the field an opportunity to take home some great prizes including 3 team prizes of 3 pairs of Teva X1C running shoes valued at $180 each.

Competitors should note that there will be a bike drop off prior to registration. Full details will be sent in joining instructions emailed one week before the event.
