Anaconda Adventure Race Lorne – A big field and stars aplenty.

Lorne’s famous beaches, coastlines and hinterland will be the focus of the adventure racing world as individuals and teams compete for $40,000 in cash and prizes during an epic 52km off-road journey.

The leading male chances include Caine Eckstein (Coolangatta Gold winner, 2005), Simon Thompson (10th Athens Olympic triathlon), Richard Ussher and Gordon Walker (1st and 2nd in the Speights Coast to Coast, World Championships, NZ), Guy Andrews (ex. Champion surf Ironman and winner of Anaconda WA and Gold Coast) and Jarad Kohlar (Winner Mars Challenge).

In the women’s race, the field includes Christie Sym (winner of Anaconda WA and Gold Coast), Karla Gilbert (7 times surf iron women national champion and 2 times world champion) and Del Lloyd (winner, Upper Murray Challenge).
