Entries Open for the 2007 Questars Series

The 2007 Questars series looks set to be the best yet, with some great new venues and entries have opened earlier this year as every race in 2006 was a sell out. There are also discounts for entering the series, and prices have been kept the same as they have for the previous 5 years! The series dates and venues are as follows:

Race 1: Saturday 31st March â€“ The New Forest
The event is in a delightful setting at Moyles Court just north of Ringwood. This is a private school in a Queen Anne house with the race will be based in their modern sports hall. Its right on the western edge of the New Forest so will afford access to some great biking and trail running over very varied terrain. The nearby lake is the venue for the kayaking stage.

Race 2: Saturday 2nd June â€“ The Brecon Beacons
Whilst returning to the ever popular Brecon Beacons National Park Questars are this year going to a new area. Close to Crickhowell the event centre is very near the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal where the kayaking will take place, with the trail running and biking stages exploring much of the nearby majestic countryside.

Race 3: Saturday 14th July â€“ The Wiltshire Downs
Always a favourite location this race returns to the venue of two years ago in the Vale of Pewsey. The event base is again adjacent to the kayaking stage on a nearby canal. The biking and running stages will cover a lot of new ground on rolling chalk hills with big open views.

Race 4: Saturday 8th September â€“ North Cotswolds
Quest organised a special adventure race for the outdoor gear retailers, Blacks Leisure group here last year. It was such a success the adventure race is following them to enjoy the splendours of the Cotswolds. Itâ€™s great adventure racing country with some magnificent views and the most scenic kayaking stage of the series.
