Welcome The Angry Doctor 100km MTB EnduroBoy, has the AROC Sport Team been busy these past few months! This season is not over yet that the next one is already under way, with some neat new events coming your way!
Of course this doesn’t mean we are letting go of our successful AROC Adventure Series, but we are improving them! Each race will now offer three versions:
1. a new much shorter novice event for kids, first timers and those still hesitant about their fitness. Easily achievable and a great way to get your taste buds drooling for more adventure racing. (1-2 hours).
2. the standard course for regular racers with the best AROC have gotten you used to: surprises, speccy location, lots of fun (2.5-5.5 hours).
3. the advanced course consisting of the standard course plus extra-rewarding bonus legs for the fastest, most competitive teams (3.5-5.5 hours).
The 2007-2008 AROC Adventure Series is 5 races: Sydney (15 December 2007 and 9 February 2008), Central Coast (3 May 2008) and Canberra (30 November 2007 with the Brindabella Challenge Night Race and 23 February 2008). We are also bringing back the series winners so keep an eye out on how the point scoring works to be in the running.
