The course remains a secret till the day before the start but you can be sure that teams will be pouring over local guides to see what they could be in for.

Now in its 6th year GeoQuest has certainly tested teams, with such obstacles as Middle Brother at Bonny Hills followed by building rafts/submarines (depending on the load you carried)and paddling across queen lake in 2005.

Hike-a Bike up Mt Yarrahappinni near Grassy Head in 2006 or the Team Split Section the same year.

What about Eden in 2004, who will forget the snorkel or the trek up Mt Imlay, i know we wont forget the trek down the other side, and nor will 4 or 5 other teams we came across in the bottom of the valley, and how magic was that last paddle leg or the trek down the beach to the last paddle.

How was the paddle on Jervis Bay in 2003 into a howling westerly or the abseil off Florence head with your bikes.

Then there was 2002 at Batemans Bay, i dont recall alot, as we threw ourselves in the deep end with this race and after 16 hrs decided we had rocks in our heads and thought you needed to be nuts to do this stuff.
