BMC 100km Classic: Woodend Victoria 20th April 2008

Only one hour’s drive from central Melbourne and 40 minutes from the airport. The event isscheduled for the 20th April 2008, with entries opening in early December ‘07.
The course will traverse the popular riding locations of the Wombat State Forest and Lerderderg State Park with up to 50% single track and absolutely no tarmac, guaranteed! Riders will have the option to ride the full 100km or the 50km half course. The BMC Classic is hosted in association with the Castlemaine Rocky Riders MTB Club ensuring an intimate knowledge of the area and local trails.
Double Century of Dirt
Competitors will have the opportunity to ride a “Double Century of Dirt†by competing in the BMC 100km Classic in Victoria (20 April) followed by the Dirt Works 100km Classic in NSW (4 May), only two weeks apart. Maximum Adventure is offering special discounts for all riders entering the “Double Centurion†category, with prizes up for grabs for the fastest combined times across both events.
BMC is the major sponsor of the event and will provide over $20,000 worth of product prizes.
