Not so Fast Adventures, a new race promoter, has 4 events planned for their first Great Seal Adventure Series. All events in the series are to be held in The Great Seal State Park near Chillicothe, OH.

The first event is the Rogaine Skills Builder Clinic on December 29, 2007. Rogaine Skill Builder is the first event of the series. The skill builder session is designed to bring people together in a non-competitive atmosphere to help build skills. This will give everyone a chance to get familiar with the race venue and meet new people. A small course will be set out for you to practice. If you have not experienced The Great Seal State Park, your in for a treat. The forest is mature and has wide open terrain which makes navigation much easier. (no briars). The terrain is rolling to very steep to challenge all skill levels. You will find some really cool outcroppings in this park as well. See the parks website http://www.bright.net/~thollow/great_seal.htm

Event begins at 11am and will end about 3pm. Register at the Ireland shelter. Begin and end the training course at your convenience, just check in and out. Experienced racers will be ready to help newcomers. Maps and a snack will be provided.

The second event in the series is The Great Seal Rogaine 3 & 6 hour on February 17, 2008. This is the first Rogaine to be held in The Great Seal State Park. A 3 hour and a 6 hour Rogaine will run at the same time. This provides all skill levels a chance to compete at a comfortable level. Come and enjoy wide open terrain. New navigators will love this course in the winter with no green cover. Experienced navigators will enjoy the high speed and long distance of the course. Look for one special activity to gain bonus points, just a small twist from the norm.

The 6 hour begins at 10am and ends at 4pm. The 3 hour starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm. This event will start at the Ireland Shelter. Both courses end with a cookout prepared by Chuck. The top five teams and solos will receive awards. And someone will race for FREE, just register before Feb. 9 to be entered into a drawing. Register for the final three events for just $95, you must register before February 9, 2008. Register now for a rogaine only, the 3 hour for $25 or the 6 hour for $45 per person

The third event is a Mountain Bike Skills Builder on April 13, 2008. This is an opportunity to test and improve your skills in the mountains of Great Seal State Park. You will be able to build skills in a non-competitive atmosphere. A small race course will be set out for you to practice. Come and enjoy the pristine 20 mile trail system that rivals any in the state. A wide variety of terrain exists here, steep hills like Scioto Trails, fast rollers like Lake Hope and people made terrain features like Alum Creek.
