Top Teams Converge at 7th Running of the Berryman Adventure

Van Buren, MO - The 2007 Berryman Adventure, presented by Columbia Sportswear, will boast the biggest turnout in the race's 7 year history.Teams from 23 states will be taking on this grueling course in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri on September 29th.
The Berryman Adventure has over 260 adventure racers in all coming to participate in the Midwest's Premier Adventure Race. There are 61 2-Person teams competing in the 12-Hour course and almost 140 racers competing in the 36-Hour course, consisting of 4 Person and 2 Person teams.
Some of the top adventure racing teams in the nation are coming to take on the 36-Hour course, a 120+ mile journey in rugged, steep terrain. All
Berryman Adventure racers will enjoy racing in deep backwoods forests and will be on miles of great singletrack! They will paddle some of the best rivers in the country, which are nationally protected. Racers will also be rewarded with beautiful, scenic views of deep valleys and spring-fed rivers from the tops of huge bluffs in the heart of the Ozark Mountains.
Race Headquarters is located at Big Spring Park in Van Buren, Missouri, home of the largest spring in the United States, and one of the largest in the world.
