Teams will be battling the elements, enduring 50 hours of non-stop racing and fending off hallucinations to find out who can outsmart the other competitors and stay on the edge of sanity!The beautiful shore of the Eurobodalla Coast on the South Coast of NSW will once again play host to an AROC event. Course-setters Tom Landon-Smith and Alina McMaster have mapped out a brand new course which all participants will discover together the day before the race starts. Expect some breathtaking coasteering along rocky shores, challenging single track mountain biking, river and ocean kayaking and the best navigation you can expect from AROC. If you thought that was not enough, hold your breath for the Kiehl’s Abseiling Challenge and tip over the Edge of Reality for some exciting rope work!
Forming a team of 3 with a strong team spirit will be key to succeeding in this race where speed won’t necessarily crown the champions: it will take real team work and support to endure the elements and challenges that lie ahead! This promises to be an unforgettable event creating strong memories for a lifetime!
The Edge of Reason, a 25-hour option on half the course, is available for those looking for a less demanding adventure.
Kayaks, paddles, PFDs are provided and no support crew is necessary.
Entry fee is $385 per person for the Mountain Hardwear Edge of Reality 50hr course and $265 per person for the Mountain Hardwear Edge of Reason 25hr option. Entries are now open.
