Some of you can flog yourselves for 24 hours in the championships whilst other enter the 15 in 24 hour or the 6 hour. The 6 hour - hash house graziers - can drive you home and inflict their musical tastes upon those weary minds and bodies. The event is been held 30 minutes from Mudgee - according to whereis a 3hour and 15 minute drive from Sydney. Check out the wineries of Mudgee and if you have the time drive home via the northern route above the Wollemi National Park. The course has been set by Ian Dempsey who has over twenty years experience as competitor and organiser. He has described the terrain thus \"I’ve found very little scrub in the event area and it will be marked on the map. Terrain is best described as mixed, but generally the going is quite good. There’s some open farmland, very open forest along the river and major watercourses, and average going through the remainder. The scenery along the river is spectacular, there are clear linear features such as the river and roads for novices, and some of the more remote sections have challenging gully detail. In short, I think that there’s something for everyone at this event.\" The map specially produced map using OCAD with a scale around 1:25000.
