Date Announced for the 2008 edtion of the SOAR

The Special Operations Warriors Foundation will again be the beneficiary of proceeds from the Special Operations Adventure Race (SOAR) to be held in Highlands, in the beautiful Western mountains of North Carolina on Saturday, June 14, 2008.

This years event will be limited to 120 participants.

This year's event will feature 2 separate races: A Sprint Race of 5 - 7 hours including running, rappelling, paddling, and mountain biking. The Elite Race of 10-12 hours including running, mountain biking, paddling, rappelling, and orienteering.


The race categories are:
2 person female team under 40
2 person male team under 40
2 person co-ed team under 40
Single under 40
Master (over 40 - divided into same categories)
