Eco-Challenge Gear Sale

Rob / 18.02.2004
There is still no news on the future of Eco-Challenge, which didn’t take place last year, and with no date announced for 2004 the future of the best known race in the world did not look bright. Now it looks worse as the organisers are selling off all the equipment used to stage the race, an incredible 16,000 items, from glowsticks, to ropes, to tents etc.

If you are a Race Director you might be interested in their offer, but
Eco-Challenge fans around the world will draw their own, gloomy conclusions. Here’s their unique ‘For Sale’ offer;

Attention Race Directors or aspiring Race Directors:

Eco-Challenge is liquidating their event production inventory. Everything must go. There are about 16,000 items, ranging from rescue beacons to zip ties - everything that was owned by the event and shipped overseas to produce the event. Items range in from brand new to 8 years old.
