The fifth edition of Patagonia Expedition Race is coming up this February.

In February 2008 the fifth edition of the Patagonia Expedition Race will take place, approximately 600 km full of adventure in the most unexplored corners of mythical and legendary Tierra del Fuego.
Like all the editions before, the spirit of the Patagonia Expedition Race will be maintained and enforced, however there will be an important change. The sea-kayaking section will amount to a total of less than 10% of the whole route, which means 90% is to be achieved by trekking and mountain biking. That doesn’t diminish the importance of the kayaking, although for some teams it might make the crucial difference.

The challenge that will be imposed by the Patagonia Expedition Race fifth edition is receiving great interest, and we are expecting our largest field yet, of athletes from all over the world.
