Planet Adventure Racing Has Announced its Race Schedule for 2008

Jerry Lyons and Greg Arnold of Planet Adventure Racing have posted the dates for the 2008 season on the website, planetadventure.com. Planet Adventure Racing has an excellent line up for 2008 with a 24 hour race, a sprint race and an urban race.

First up for 2008 is the Planet Adventure 24-Hour Challenge to be held in beautiful Southern Indiana on April 4th and 5th. This race is billed as “\"The Ultimate Test of Endurance, Teamwork, & Skill\" Indiana\'s Original and Premier Adventure Race!”. This race is one of the largest and longest running adventure races in North America.

Next on the calendar is the Planet Adventure Sprint Adventure Race. The race is scheduled for June 7th. The Planet Adventure Sprint Adventure Race is the ideal race for those looking to enter the great sport of adventure racing. It packs all the same race disciplines of the Planet Adventure 24-Hour Challenge Race into 4-6 hours of challenging fun and teamwork. A must do race for novice adventure athletes looking to experience adventure racing and ideal for experienced racers looking to have fun or prepare for a longer race.

The Planet Adventure Urban Sprint is next on the schedule. The race is planned for August 9th in the city of Indianapolis. The race is a 4-6 hours, team-oriented event through the streets, alleys waterways, and outlying areas of Indianapolis. Racers can expect at least the some of these disciplines running/trekking, road/mountain biking, rope assisted (or protected) pursuits, canoeing and other wet activities and orienteering/navigation.
