New Mountain Running Season kicks off at Howth Head

The 2008 Mountain Running season kicked off last Sunday 13th January with the Howth Head Winter League Race.

The race consisted of two laps of the route around Howth Head and the rain ensured that participants were in for some muddy conditions.

Race winner was Adventure Racer Eoin Keith, who added insult to his competitors injury by cycling to and from the race and also being the first M40 home..is there no justice!

First woman was the fast improving Aoife Joyce who is running to great form.

The IMRA Winter League consits of 5 races with the best 3 to count. The next race is at Three Rock Mountain in Dublin on Feb 3rd 2008. See www.imra.ie for details
