All events will be held close to Brisbane with the first round in the CBD scheduled for 15 Feb. Round two is on the 8 Mar, Round three 13 Apr, Round four 11 May and the infamous Round 5 Hells Bells 19-20 Jul.

One Night In Vegas Preparing for Big Numbers

Round One traditionally draws the biggest numbers of all the Area51 Series rounds. It has already received three times as many entries as it had at a similar time last year! This only reinforces the growth of the sport in Austrlia and as such althoug it will be based in the Brisbane CBD, the course will take in a massive new area not used in previous years. Nicole Briscoe has been working tirelessly coming up with all the fun and quirky aspects of this event.

New Registration and Course Handout Procedure at Events

Trialed at a couple of events last year, Geocentric will be changing the registration and course hand out that occurs prior to the start. The new procedure will be all competitors must be present for a compulsory race brief given by Race Director. It will be approximately one hour before the race and detailed timings will be sent in the pre-race info packs. Immediately after the brief, teams will file past the registration desk, register and receive the course. Then it is off to planning before the race start.
