Jewel of Coffs Coast to host Mountain Designs GeoQuest 2008, NSW

With the perfect winter climate, the Coffs Coast will witness the annual pilgrimage of the sport to Australia’s premier adventure race.Kris Clauson, this years course designer, has just completed an extensive reconnaissance of the area. Having combed over every part of the planned course in detail, he has unearthed some jewels. Kris said “I have something special planned for this year and we will be doing some things never before done in a GeoQuestâ€.
The Emerald Beach Holiday Park will be the official HQ of the Mountain Designs GeoQuest for 2008. Nestled in a secluded pocket of the glorious Coffs Coast, Emerald Beach is located half way between Brisbane and Sydney. Not only is a great HQ for an adventure race, but it is also the perfect location to bring family and friends for the Queens Birthday Long Weekend.
