NSW Rogaining Championships

And dare i say an area quite familiar with Adventure Racers, lets refresh everyones memory, GeoQuest - remember abseiling off the escarpment with your bikes and making you way back to Bendalong and the finish. How about the Max Adventure 24hr you started and finished at Bendalong and went as far north as Swan Lake and everywhere in between, then there was the early Max Adv race you did the six hour rogaine leg at the back of Swan Lake and paddled all around Lake Conjola the day before. So the NSW Rogaining Champs should be the perfect chance to refamiliarise yourself with some old territory.
The Championship is always a 24-hour event starting at 12 noon Saturday 19th. So how much can you do in 24 hours? You don’t have to go non-stop for 24-hours, though the winners may well do so. Most people walk for 5 to 10 hours, return to the Hash House for food, shower, sleep, then head out again for 5 to 10 hours on Sunday morning.
The “championship†label is not restrictive. The event is open to all levels of skill and competitiveness but will be limited to 400 entrants.
A shorter Come-And-Try-It option is also available. Your team has a six hour limit, starting at any time between noon Saturday and 6am Sunday to visit as many navigational controls as you can.
