Why a Corporate Category!The new Corporate Category offers an awesome opportunity for teams from workplaces right across Australia to step outside the usual office environment and get In 2 Adventure in one of Australia\'s best team building adventures.
Based on feedback from previous events, participants now have the opportunity to compete against teams from their own workplace and teams from other workplaces in the new Corporate Adventure Category.
It\'s a fun, team based event with some big pay offs in terms of team building, getting to know your team mates, leadership skill development and just having a fun day out with your mates in the outdoors!
Who Can Enter the New Corporate Category?
Teams from workplaces, clubs and organisations can enter the corporate category. If you want to compete directly with other teams from your workplace and those from other organisations then the corporate category is for you.
Teams can be all Male, all Female or Mixed.
What\'s Involved?
The Teva Adventure Series is for teams of three and includes:
- 20-25km of Mountain Biking;
- 8-12km of Trekking;
- Basic Navigation (if you can read a street map you should be able to complete the course); and
- Team Adventure Challenges that test your ability to strategise, to work together as a team, to communicate, to innovate and to have a whole load of fun. Challenges are a combination of physical, mental, strategic and innovative tests.
The event is designed for those who have never done adventure racing before to come along and try their hand and one of Australia\'s most exciting new sports.
The mountain biking is suitable for beginners and includes mainly wide open fire trails with small sections of single track riding.
The event is designed with short, achievable legs of different disciplines with teams returning to Race HQ several times throughout the event. Transition Areas manned by First Aid and Search & Rescue Qualified personel are stationed at various locations throughout the course.
The top competitive teams will complete the event in 2 to3 hours with your average teams finishing in about 4 to 5 hours.
At the end of the day there\'s a big post race BBQ/Dinner & Prize Giving where teams can share their war stories and pick up some awesome prizes in the Teva Fun One Draw.
