August this year is the month for our Annual Pacuare Adventure Race. It is the perfect race for teams wishing to visit Costa Rica for an Adventure Race and being just a long weekend, a great way to test out your skills in the tropics.

The Pacuare Race is one of the highlights of Adventure Racing Costa Rica race calendar and we see a broad spectrum of teams, from very experienced Pros to those in the Sport section who are either training themselves for longer races, or maybe just want to come and enjoy this spectacular area, while facing some interesting and sometimes amusing challenges. We often have international teams who can spare a little extra time and come down a few days early to acclimatize. If this works for you, then we can put a package together to make the most of your time and see some of the sights while honing your skills ready for the race.

The Pacuare Adventure Race is organized and operated by Coast to Coast Adventures with the assistance of the many volunteers that help out each year. The ropes sections are set up and staffed by Pure Trek and the medical coverage for the race is supplied by the Red Cross of Costa Rica.
