The event is open to serious riders, families and teams
of all ages. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation (ACT).
Huw Kingston from Wild Horizons said:
“We’re really pleased that this fun yet challenging cycle event, the perfect showcase for all that the ACT has to offer, will continue into its 9th year and beyond. The Mental Health Foundation (ACT) love the teamwork and fun aspect of the Urban, facets they engender in their programmes to assist the mentally ill and their carers.â€
“Wild Horizons will be helping the Foundation in the running of the Urban Polaris in Canberra this year and hope that the whole cycling community gives the event their full support and that the event grows to beyond the 600 or so riders who take part each year. Down the track I’m actually looking forward to riding in a Polaris rather than organising one!â€
