La Ruta Rework Their Website

The organization of La Ruta de los Conquistadores have re-launched the official website of the race at www.adventurerace.comUpdated info, fresh multimedia features, maps and profiles of each stage are only a few of the details presented on the new portal of what is proclaimed as the World’s toughest mountain biking event. Visitors can now access the information more easily and additional data such as a complete weather forecast and course snapshots were also introduced for this new version.
Registration for this year’s event is still open and the organizers are expecting a large number of visitors to enter via the web site in the forthcoming months. The 16th edition of La Ruta de los Conquistadores will take place in Costa Rica from November 12-15th. Participants will cross the entire country from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean on a four-day mountain bike trip that retraces the path of the Spanish Conquistadors from the 16th Century.
Around 50% of the offered spots are unfilled so far and registration is planned to close in mid October. People can also register for the newsletter Service to be kept informed about the race.
Complementary services like mechanics, massages, support vehicles and transfers can be accessed online too. Registration packages for the 2008’s event range from $699 USD for the Basic Package to $999 USD for the Adventure (double-occupancy). There are also options for companions (limited) and single-occupancy accommodation.
