Towering granite domes, secret white sandy beaches, temperate rainforests, soaring sea cliffs, sheltered inlets and long forgotten islands… the 2009 Keen Adventure Race will Unearth Wilsons Promontory in a classic adventure you will never forget – and new for 2009, this renowned adventure race now has two race options allowing everyone to be part of this iconic event.Adventure racing is an ever growing sport in Australia and round the world, but that does not mean that everyone has the capacity to race for 5 days, nor to take a week off work to do an event. This has prompted the introduction of a new category as part of the 2009 Keen Adventure Race that allows weekend warriors to be involved with the conduct of the inaugural ONE DAY EXPOSÉ ADVENTURE RACE.

Designed as a super fun, super spectacular blast around ‘the prom’ this race will be held on the last day of the Keen 5 Day Stage Race and is designed to be easy and achievable for any beginner / intermediate competitor with minimal logistics = maximum fun. Key points including:
- 4-6hr race in and around Tidal River on beautiful Wilsons Prom
- Teams of 2 people (single gender or mixed) who race together
- No support crew required during racing
- Disciplines include running; mountain biking; ropes activities; ocean paddling plus other water based activities (no swimming); all easy navigation.
- Designed for beginner / intermediate racers who want to be part of the action - ideal for previous competitors in the Anaconda Adventure Race National Series – team or individuals.
