GeoCentric Bushfire Fundraising Auction

The area affected in Victoria is an area that holds alot of fond memories for adventure racers early days.

In 1995 we had chance to sample the atmosphere and freindship of the people in this area ourselves, as the JLW Challenge raced into Marysville on the 2nd day on bikes and then overnighted in the town before departing on foot the next day headed for Melbourne taking us through Yarra Glen, the area around Marysville and Healesville is an area forever in my memory,i know i won't forget riding down the Maroondah Highway through massive stands of gum trees and birds nest ferns, at breakneck speed while trying not to look at the view too much.

The area is very close to alot of folk and as such prompted GeoCentric to Auction and raffle off 2 Limited Edition Casio AR World Series Watches, there were many bids with the final two generous bids from Andrew and the team behind AyUp Lighting ($1250) and also David Leggo ($1000). Both will receive the watches and all proceeds will go directly towards the Red Cross Appeal, gold coin doantions at various points in the City Raid event also helped push the tally up, with all donations going to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.
