Known as the ‘master of moisture management’, Swedish baselayer specialist CRAFT is further extending its high-tech layer 1 program for winter 09. In the cold season, it’s all about extra protection: the multiple award winning Layer WARM is enriched by a front-zipped top with an enhanced collar to protect the throat from the elements.Designed particularly for highly aerobic activities on cold winter days, Warm is one of the favourites with CRAFT’s many sponsored athletes and national teams, such as the Swedish Alpine and Cross-Country squads as well as the German national Alpine and Ski Cross athletes.
CRAFT’s Layer WARM consists of soft and lightweight Nexten polyamide hollow-fibres, polyester and elasthane. The soft and elastic fibres are worked in a complex 3D knit with seamlessly integrated climate zones, a technology corresponding with the different temperature zones of the body. The hollow-fibres and the spaces in between trap air and thus provide great insulation, while the thinner material in the ‘hot spots’ prevents overheating.
The new high collar neck construction of the Warm Zip Mockneck adds further thermal protection for the throat. To allow more versatility and individual ventilation, the Swedish brand integrates a deep front zip.
The new addition completes CRAFT’s WARM range, which also includes the Crewneck, long Underpants and a Knicker as well as a short sleeve top for men.
