Superlight for Spring
Press Release / 09.03.2010
With the ‘Aerios’, Canadian top performance brand Arc’teryx introduces its first line of trail running and biking packs. Weighing in at just about a pound, those little guys carry all necessities for your favourite sports. Designed for adrenaline fueled adventure, with maximum breathability and a close-to-the-body fit, the new ultra lightweight Aerios trail packs are built for fast moving mountain pursuits, providing a comfortable and breathable carrying system for hydration bladders, compact outerwear and nutritional needs.Featuring the same air-permeable AeroForm™ backpanels and breathable mesh shoulder straps as in the larger Axios, the Aerios offers improved freedom of torso movement with 3D-molded framesheets that flex vertically for mobility, but have horizontal anti-barreling ribs to enhance stability.
Available in a 14L, 10L, and 7L, the Aerios panel-loading speed packs are hydration reservoir compatible and feature an adjustable and stowable bungee compression system for lashing extra gear. The largest volume Aerios 14 has an external stretch mesh kangaroo pocket for expandable storage.
Perfect for trail running or light-and-fast day hikes, each Aerios pack has a modular waist belt that can be positioned low at the waist or just below the solar plexus, which reduces the amount of bounce when running with a
hydration bladder or heavy load.
