DARE Sold Out in Two Minutes!

The DARE 12 hour race in October is eagerly awaited but even organisers Dynamic Adventure Racing were surprised by the overwhelming response they receive when entries opened. Nicky Thomas explained how the race sold out in just two minutes!“On Saturday 12th June the entries for the Dynamic Adventure Racing DARE event, to be held in the Forest of Dean in early October, opened at 10:00 am sharp. Competitors were asked to apply by email in the first instance, which would allow the race directors to manage the applications accurately by time and order of arrival. By 10:02 am all 20 places had been snapped up and the reserve list was building fast.
Nicky and Simon are now looking forward to checking out the course over the summer, which this year will be planned by Tom Gibbs, current World Adventure Racing Champion and local resident."
The race then managed to find and extra 5 boats and the lucky teams who got a place were as follows;
