This years event filled to capacity as quick as ever, 300 souls will potentially brave a cool morning at Akuna Bay on Sydneys northern outskirts, enduring a 32km road ride,a 12km kayak and a 12km trail run to finish anywhere from the 3hr mark on.

Can Jarad Kohlar from Victoria take the winners trophy home!, I certainly think so, although it wont be an easy task, the chase pack should see the likes of Boyd Conrick, Matt Shields and Matt Blundell who this year stepped out of the Team event the give the solo event a run.

In the womens event the good money would have to be on Yanda Nossitter from sydneys northern beaches while in the vets Brett Greenwood and Matt Acheson will both figure strongly.
