Rocky Trail will be the first cycling event organiser to host a MTB event at the new “Enduro Trail†at Mount Annan Botanic Garden in Sydney’s South-West.Mount Annan is the native plant garden of the Botanic Gardens Trust in Sydney and with 416 hectares it is the largest botanic garden in Australia. On the weekend of 26+27 March 2011 mountain bikers from near and far will be summoned to the new cycling destination that’s set in the historic region of McArthur.
Rocky Trail to launch two racing and riding series for 2011
Round 1 of Rocky Trail’s SHIMANO MTB Grand Prix will be the first race to be held on the newly built tracks on Saturday, 26 March 2011, and the 4 and 8 hour race day will be followed by another first on Sunday, 27 March, with the launch of the BANZAI LifeCycle MTB Fitness Series.
The Enduro Trail, which will be used for both events, provides a challenging and enjoyable ride, within the rich and diverse botanical display of Mount Annan Botanic Garden.
