70 wild miles involves cycling 47 miles, kayaking 10 miles followed by a 13 mile run - definitely not for the faint hearted! The event can be done as a solo competitor or in a team of three. 2011 will be the fifth year of the event, going on feedback from last year; this event is not to be missed if you are really up for a challenge.

Each section of the challenge will begin and end at the Share Holiday Village. Staff from the Share Holiday Village will be working alongside CLIC Sargent to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible. With Chain Reaction Cycles (World's largest online Bikestore) onboard as the events title sponsor there are a number of great spot prizes including a 'Vitus Razor Road Bike' for the top fundraiser, and many other fantastic prizes for top solo and team competitors.

CLIC Sargent act as a lifeline keeping families together when the unimaginable happens. We provide clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to children and young people with cancer and their families. If you do decide to take part you will be helping the two children or young people who are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia each week in Northern Ireland.
