Klim, the ambassador of the event is excited about his decision to return to the pool and credits his multi sport exercise over the last few years for keeping him in shape and giving him a shot at the 2012 Olympics.

Having dabbled in adventure racing competing in the Mark Webber Pure Tasmania Adventure Challenge, Klim was forced to learn to paddle a kayak and conquer tough terrain on a mountain bike. A handy runner for someone of his build he used his determination and exercise smart to tick that box and has used his new skills to keep fit in the years since.

With his sights set on London he is competing in the Marysville to Melbourne Multi Sport Challenge on April 10th as part of a team with friends Grace McClure and David Moffatt. "I'm doing one of the run legs and a paddle. It's for a good cause and is great preparation for my comeback to swimming. It's important mentally and physically that I keep doing cross training and the race will be good fun as I'm doing it with mates.” Klim said. McClure, a media personality and triathlete and Moffatt, former Group Managing Director at Telstra have formed team Milk, representing Klim’s skincare company.
