Columbia Sportswear are proud to announce sponsorship of the HellRider duathlon taking place on Saturday June 4th 2011 in West Wycombe Park, Buckinghamshire.
 
From TrailPlus, creators of HellRunner, HellRider is a brand new event that will see an 8 hour off-road team duathlon relay challenge, alternating 5km run and 8km bike loops.

You can enter either as an individual, a team of 3 or a team of 5. The objective is to complete as many of the alternate 5km run loops and 8km mountain bike loops as possible within the 8-hour time limit (from 10-6pm). Only one of your team will be on the go at any one time and so long as every team member completes a minimum of one run and one mtb lap, it is entirely down to your team’s strategy as to how many laps each of you tackle.

Tackle the soul-sapping ascent that is the ‘Teeth of Cerberus’ and have your senses awoken by the ‘Bath of Beelzebub’. West Wycombe Park offers sensational multi-terrain adventure with lung-bursting ascents and single-track sensations.

As well as delivering one of your most memorable running and biking experiences of the year, every participant will receive a superb performance technical t-shirt from Columbia in addition to a packed goody bag. There will be chip-timing and also a free pass for one to the acclaimed Hell Fire Caves, just a short walk from HellRider.
