From Nelligen to Nambucca

It began 10 years ago with 17 teams and 3 finishers. After 10 years only a handful of competitors and support crew can claim to have been involved in every one, 2 such people are Damon Goerke and Kim Willocks, originally Mexicans, they now race under the Blackheart banner.The years certainly haven’t slowed them down and this year they will no doubt be up there again at the pointy end, as i am sure will the likes of Mountain Designs with Gary Sutherland at the helm(number 9 i think) and Peak Adventure with Jarad Kohlar.
Last year saw Mountain Designs race in The Vanuatu AR and have a break from Geo, had the events not clashed and they would have raced at Port.
Peak Adventure have been busy this year with Jarad leading the charge across Bass Strait on racing skis for the Surfrider Foundation, not to mention a great result in Abu Dhabi as well as in China only a couple of months ago.
