Back with the Blacks Single-Track 10K and 5K Trail Run

The North Face is pleased to announce the return of the Blacks Single-Track Trail Run on 16th October, 2011 at the National Trust’s Dunstable Downs, Bedfordshire.

Continuing the success of last year’s inaugural event, Blacks and The North Face® team up to encourage people to get out in the fresh air and tackle an achievable off road running event. Featuring two races, the 5K race is designed for the beginner, especially for those who have never attempted this kind of event before. The 10K race appeals more to those who like a bit more of a challenge.

Marie Mcloughlin, Marketing Executive at Blacks states “After the huge success of The Blacks Single-Track Trail Run 2010, we’re really excited about this year’s event. We’re hoping for even more participants to take on the challenging and rewarding route, set in a beautiful National Trust landscape.

The annual event celebrates our passion for the outdoors and we’re delighted to be back for the second year.”

Registration is via www.blackstrailrun.co.uk. Entry fee is £20 per person. Each competitor receives a The North Face® technical tee to the value of £20. Podium prizes of The North Face® gear will be awarded for each race, including a pair of The North Face® Single-Track running shoes for the winners.
